Dottie was more than a friend she was family. I have so many Wonderful memories, taking her to the hairdresser for all the latest gossip. Going to lunch at Lombardo’s the owner would always greet her with a kiss and a hug. Morrottos where Mark would come out and play the harmonica for her and it always brighten her day. Every day, Dottie put on her jewelry, her perfume, and you really never saw her in black clothing.
One of my best memories is when Fran set up a surprise 100 birthday party for her. We went to New Jersey and surprised her and got to spend the weekend with her.
I will definitely miss my weekly phone calls.
