I met Frank when our companies merged and we became IDP in 1992.
He, and Johnny G, put together a set of clubs for me to use at the first company golf outing I played in (probably 2000). That got me started in golf.
My wife and I were looking at pop-up campers (around 2002), when he & Patty, were taking a second look at the one they were most interested in. We eventually bought theirs when they decided to upsize.
When Liz & I bought our second house, it ended up being about 10 doors down, and 1 block over, from Frank. We often got to talk on the street as neighbors do. Subjects were often golf, camping and neighbors.
This is besides the many, many conversations we had about the pump business we both spent our careers in. Conversation that taught me much.
I will miss Frank.
