Mr Buck. That’s how I remember him. Growing up on the same street, some of my earliest childhood memories take place in the Buckingham house. Mr Buck and the whole Buckingham family treated me like part of the clan, having me over for dinner, family picnics, and even taking me on vacations down the shore. I remember listening to 45 records on the stereo console that they had. Mr Buck was so involved in Buck’s life, and therefore mine, that he felt like my family too. He was my family. The Buckingham house was always filled with relatives, and there was always something going on.
Everybody has flaws but from my perspective, you can’t find a more decent, honest, hard working provider, better father, better husband, better family man, or role model. Those qualities were fully passed along to Buck, and influenced me as well. Thank you.
You will be missed. And remembered.
Rest In Peace Mr Buck.
