Obituary of Thomas J. Miggins

Thomas J. Miggins, 65, of Mendham, NJ, passed away at home on February 6, 2025.

He grew up and spent many years in Newark before moving to Union and Berkeley Heights, settling in Mendham. He worked for Comcast Cable for many years. He loved animals, especially dogs, and enjoyed relaxing by fishing with friends. 

Thomas was predeceased by his beloved wife, Lenore (Puzzo) Miggins; his parents, Michael J. and Margaret (Lahey) Miggins; his brother, Kevin E. Miggins; and his sister, Margaret Anne Miggins.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Gianna Miggins, Caitlin Chemis and her husband Michael; his brother, Michael J. Miggins and his wife Maggee; as well as his nephews, Vincent Politano Jr. and Daniel Miggins and his niece, Elizabeth (Miggins) King. 

Visitation will be held at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave, Maplewood, NJ, on Thursday, February 20th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, 50 Short Hills Ave, Short Hills, NJ, on Friday, February 21st at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Thomas’s memory to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
