Dear Rosann,
I wish you could see this heartfelt message.
Since moving to Chicago, I thought of you and your kind smile from time to time. I’m deeply sorry that I didn’t stay in touch after I moved. When I heard the news from Choi the other day, my heart dropped. I had no idea you had been battling cancer or what you had gone through... I am truly sorry.
I hope you are now resting in peace, free from pain. I lost my father to cancer five years ago, so I understand, at least in part, what your family must be feeling.
I pray for you and your family with all my heart. You will not be forgotten.
With love and remembrance,
Young

My heart is heavy at the passing of my dear friend, Roseann. Although I am grateful that she is no longer suffering through treatments, side affects, pain and constant worry, I am so sad for those of us who had the great pleasure of being in this dear woman's circle. We surely are going to miss her presence, love, laughter and friendship in this world.
Roseann and I were friends for 44 years since meeting in our college dorm. Friendships like that don't come along very often. I consider her my Soul Sister! We thought so much alike on almost every topic. We could talk deeply about absolutely anything and I could be 100% myself with her. I don't think we ever had an argument or misunderstanding. We supported each other through so many of life's ups and downs and she had a knack for always reminding me of who I am at my core. What a gift! And one of my favorite things was to make her laugh until she cried! Our Textile girlfriends could do this in spades when we got together! We've had some incredibly fun times and travels together. (Florida, Charleston, Ocean Grove, and most recently Virginia where we played games, walked on the beach and played pickleball!)
Roseann has been there for me through dating, my wedding, postpartum depression, raising kids, career changes, my husband's many health problems, family deaths and more. She would check in with me and totally understood if I couldn't talk. She'd just let me know she was there when I was ready. I will surely miss that!
My heart and gratitude is with Dean who has been a devoted caregiver through these last years of sickness. Caitlin and Harrison...your dear mom was full of love and pride for you and your partners. Please accept my deepest sympathies. She will be in all of our hearts forever. She has made a beautiful impact on our lives. Rest in peace my dear friend.

I cannot begin to communicate my sorrow for the passing of Roseann, as lovely a soul as there could ever be. Roseann was a pillar of dignity, grace and strength during her long battle with health setbacks. I was always amazed at the optimism she was able to maintain in the presence of my daughters and me. Simply amazing. Meg, Caroline and i have often reflected on how wonderful it is that we could re-connect with Roseann and Dean and the great laughs we experienced when we were together. Heartbreak falls far short of expressing my pain for the Clarkes and Kuhars. Know that Roseann was greatly loved. Rest in peace, my friend. Mark McNally
