It’s hard to put into words what Aunt Cindy meant to me and to our entire family. She wasn’t just my mom’s best friend—she was a permanent part of our lives, a fixture of love, laughter, and unwavering support. Their friendship was one of those rare and beautiful bonds that lasted a lifetime, and being able to witness it was one of the greatest lessons I’ve ever received. Watching the two of them together showed me what true friendship looks like—loyalty, understanding, patience, and a deep, enduring connection that time or distance could never weaken.
Aunt Cindy was there for all the moments that mattered. She was by my side during some of the most difficult times, especially when my mom was facing medical challenges. Her presence gave me strength and comfort—she never had to ask what was needed; she just showed up, like she always did, with open arms and a heart full of love.
Even if we went a while without seeing each other, she never made me feel forgotten. She always made a point to reach out, to include me, to remind me that I mattered. Holidays wouldn’t have been the same without her, and some of my fondest memories include her laughter ringing through the house, her thoughtful gifts that made me feel so seen and special, and her incredible sense of humor that never failed to lift our spirits.
She took the role of “Aunt Cindy” seriously—always showing up, always caring, always making us laugh. She was witty, funny, and full of life, but she also had this deep well of compassion that she drew from constantly. She gave so much of herself to the people she loved.
Aunt Cindy wasn’t just a part of our family—she was family. And I will carry her memory with me always, not only in the stories and laughter she left behind but in the example she set of how to love and show up for the people who matter most.
I love you Aunt Cin & we know your spirit is with us and watching over us keeping us safe and guiding us!
Love,
Michelle, Debbie & Mike
