Obituary of Elizabeth M. Rosevear

Elizabeth M. Rosevear, 88, of Short Hills, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on May 30, 2025. Born in Newark, she made Short Hills her home since 1965.

Elizabeth earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Marymount College in Tarrytown, NY, and went on to share her love of learning with young children as a longtime teacher at Christ Church Nursery School in Short Hills.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Richard B. Rosevear; her children, Joseph A. Clarken III and Elizabeth Donaghy and her cherished grandchildren, Ava Donaghy, Eden Clarken, and Dane Clarken. She was predeceased by her brother, Stephen Roth.

The family will be receiving friends at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home 2122 Millburn Ave, Maplewood on Saturday, June 7^th from 2:00 – 5:00 PM.
