Obituary of Leslie D. Boughner

Leslie D. Boughner, 72, of Park Ridge, passed away on Saturday, October 11th.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Avenue, South Orange, NJ, on Saturday, November 8th, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life at 3:00 PM.

Leslie devoted many years as a loyal and dedicated clerical assistant at the law firm of Dughi, Hewit & Damalewski in Cranford. She was admired for her warmth, meticulous attention to detail, and kind spirit.

A passionate traveler, Leslie loved exploring the beauty of the United States—from beaches to mountains and everything in between. Many of her journeys were spent visiting family. She and her husband, Scott, enjoyed countless cruises together, and she also cherished memorable trips to Europe with her sister, Lisa.

Leslie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Scott R. Boughner, and her parents, James W. Denton and Millicent Seebeck Denton.

She is survived by her siblings, Ellen Denton, James W. Denton Jr., and Lisa D. Bruno, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who dearly loved her. Leslie had a special affection for her loyal dog, Venus, and was endlessly entertained by her cat, Katie.

Leslie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
