Obituary of Barbara McEvoy

Barbara A. McEvoy, age 91, of Fort Lee, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus, NJ.

 

Born in East Orange, NJ, Barbara grew up alongside her sister, Joan in Orange and attended Westside Highschool together. She pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Ramapo College. Barbara later was married and raised her children in Old Bridge, NJ, before moving to Fort Lee, where she resided for the past 40 years. Shewas self-employed as an interior designer and took great pride in her work and creativity.

 

She is survived by her three sons, Thomas (Elizabeth), Kevin (Cathy), and Scott (Cathy), and four beloved grandchildren: Julie, Scott, Patrick, and Megan.

 

Funeral services will be private.
