Karen and I met Jonah when he was only 6 years old and came to Boca to visit his grandparents, Arlene and Bob. For us it became a yearly visit. He loved to play with our dog Chico. I remember when he was 7 years old and we went to the Boca Hotel. He asked me to go with him into the jewelry shop and there he proceeded to name every designer watch. He told me which ones he would get when he was all grown up. Even at seven, he knew the finer things in life. We will miss Jonah. Lynn and Karen

Like several others, I also met Jonah at Bucks Rock Camp. The first thing I think of when I remember Jonah is his energy -which he had in abundance! He had a larger than life personality, and whenever he came into a space -you knew it.
He was always sure to say hello to me every time he saw me without fail. It just doesn’t seem possible that he’s actually gone.
My heart goes out to his family and close friends.
Rest easy, Jonah.

It was a privilege to see Jonah's beautiful smile and endearing dimples at the Chanukah parties through the years.
He exuded a gentleness, kindness and compassion unique to such a young man. At this past Chanukah party I watched
with admiration at his attentiveness and kind gestures with his grandpa Robert. Jonah will be greatly missed by all who loved
him. Please know he will remain in all our hearts always.

We only had one or two opportunities to meet Jonah. The most memorable was at a bat mitzvah party, where he cut it up in the Photo Booth finding all kinds of funny and creative ways to use the props and camera and engaged us all in playing. He was such a unique, fun, and warm presence. We hope he is at peace and we are here for you, Geoff and Eric.

I spent two years at bucks rock with Jonah. We had movie nights, got lunch together, and did crafts. I remember days when he’d walk around camp with amazing accessories, and when I asked where he got them, I was in awe when he said they were all his own originals! He was always so funny and sweet. I wish I had to words to express what a joy he was, and how much light and warmth came from his presence. I hope his family is doing well, and I’d like to thank you for sending him to bucks rock. I’m so lucky I was able to call him my friend.

Hello, my name is Ben, I meet Jonah at SCAD when he went there for the summer program. He was my roommate. Jonah was so great, always social. He actually was the one who introduced me to some really important in my life. Jonah always enjoyed watching movies with me and my other roommate Aiden. I remember the time we all watched the Amazing Digital Circus together and Borat was a laugh. Jonah also was someone who was there when it was the most important. I’m going to miss him and I just hope he’s in a better place.

Jonah was the first regular at the radio shop I met, He was laidback, Funny and very friendly. He had these rainbow crocs that were his pride and joy. As I got to know him more, He became a sweet friend to me. We’d watch videos together, we laughed, we relaxed and we had fun. There wasn’t any group he couldn’t ease into, Everybody liked him. My first year of being a Radio CIT, He would sit outside and play with a rubix cube, Enjoying the wind and chatting along with anyone that was there. Once I got to know him better, he really helped me blossom into being friends with everyone I could, he was the greatest example for that. On my first trip, He sat right next to me and gave me company the whole ride there,
He was really the greatest friend anyone could ask for.
Fly High, Jonah. I love ya, Twin.

Over the years, we saw Jonah when he visited his Grandma Miriam. He and Miriam had a wonderful relationship that brightened all of us. Jonah was always a happy, engaged person with multiple interests. Grandma Miriam was very proud of his artistic talents, sewing, painting, and making drums. Mostly, she was proud of the kindness he showed for people and animals. He was an example of how love is the most important thing. His excitement about various projects, collecting postcards and so much more was infectious. We saw him just before he passed at his grandma's playing legos, amused at how inept we were compared to his ability to build them. He laughed and teased us and showed so much love. We are profoundly sad about his loss and will always keep him in our hearts. With deepest sympathy to Geoff and Eric.

Jonah was a true friend. He had an amazing ability to connect with people. Jonah would spend hours of his time just to help his friends. He was interested in the world around him - collections, oddities, music, animals, fashion - everything. Jonah was always kind and never had a mean word, even when gently teased. His sense of style was an unusual mix of creativity and designer items. Jonah was a ray of sunshine that brightened our days and he will be missed forever.

I'm heartbroken to hear about your loss and sending Jonah's family and friends my deepest condolences.
I met Jonah at Buck's Rock in 2024 and he entered my heart with his constant smile, warmth and humor. Every time he passed by my shop he would stop to say hello which was heartwarming.
I remember one evening when I was on duty sitting in front of his friend's cabin, both of them joined me for hours. Then I had the privilege to get to know Jonah a little bit more. We had a lovely evening talking, creating, playing games and having serious talks in between.
I saw a smart young person who cared for his friend very much, very creative, very open, funny and extremely knowledgeable about design.
Jonah was very much loved in camp and will be extremely missed.

Jonah brought so much fun and humor to our commercial art class. He was witty, knowledgeable, and endlessly creative, always ready to push an idea a little further and make us laugh along the way. One of my favorite memories is how engaged he was during a small watercolor project the day before the winter break. He told me he was actually very proud of his work, and that moment meant so much. Jonah was also incredibly thoughtful-he surprised our classmate with a gigantic Squishable toy that he got for her as her Secret Santa. When Jonah was a young boy, I got to meet him at his Grandma Miriam's house; I came over to do a magic show. He said, "Come Rainbow, sit next to me!" He placed a rubber turd where I was supposed to sit and we both burst out laughing. After the magic show, we went on to play with his Grandma's dog. We giggled and laughed like children. I loved running into Jonah and Miriam several times during his visits over the years. I was so taken with his presence. And I always remember Miriam talking about the beautiful trips she and Jonah had. I'd ask her how he was doing and hear about his latest adventures. I'll always love you, Jonah. --Felicia Flanagan
