Mary Ann Wiewiorski, 65, of Toms River, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Toms River Community Hospital.
Born in Orange, New Jersey, Mary Ann was raised in South Orange and later lived in Colonia before spending the last ten years in Toms River.
As a child, Mary Ann loved music and playing the piano and guitar as well as playing basketball and softball, as well as being a member of the Girl Scout Troop at Our Lady of Sorrows. Mary Ann received her Associate's Degree from Union County College as a Dental Hygienist and going on to work in Millburn for some time. She also worked as a waitress at the Sage Diner in Maplewood, and Smugglers Cove in Short Hills.
Years later, Mary Ann would work at Bunnys Restaurant in South Orange for years, before being employed by Merck Pharmaceuticals as a Chemical Operator until she retired. During that time Mary Ann would meet and marry the Love of her life James and spend the next 26 years together.
Mary Ann was a die-hard Bengals fan and loved spending time at the Beach and Boardwalk at the Jersey Shore. She loved fishing, that was her passion, and was so proud when she won a fishing tournament.
Mary Ann was a person that touched so many lives in so many ways and will always be remembered fondly by her family and friends.
Mary Ann is the beloved daughter of the late Joseph Zuzuro Jr., and sister to the late Joseph Zuzuro III, both from Madison and both formerly of South Orange. She is survived by her loving husband, the Love of her life, and best friend James Wiewiorski, her loving dog Sammy; her devoted mother, Rose Marie (Ippolito) Zuzuro; and her three sisters, Marie Lentz, Catherine Zuzuro, and Susan Zuzuro. She also leaves behind Nieces and Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews and her beloved Great Aunt Rose Mercadante.
