Obituary of Mary L. Memoli

Mary L. Memoli, 95, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, May 10, 2026.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 15, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect Street, South Orange. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Jacob Holle Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Mary was born and raised in South Orange, lived in Irvington for 52 years before moving to Springfield 11 years ago. She worked for many years at Hammond Map Company, where she held various duties throughout her career.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Dominic J. Memoli, and by her brothers, Anthony, Carmen, and Joseph Franzonia.

Mary is survived by her loving daughters, Nancy McNulty and Karen Pisauro and her husband James, as well as her cherished grandson, Michael Pisauro.

She will be remembered as a kindhearted, selfless, sweet and gentle person who was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Fiercely devoted to her family and always handling life's curveballs with a warm smile on her face. She will be in our hearts forever and will be missed every second of every day.
