For many years, John served the Borough of Florham Park with exceptional professionalism, integrity, and care. More than a trusted tax assessor, he was a source of guidance, reassurance, and wisdom. I pray that you and Jim Gibbs are seated above and collaborating on tax appeals. Joe & Joe & Cheryl.

While I had only known John for the last 20 years of his long lived life, I felt like I knew him much longer. He joined our Historical Society board while I was the president and found his contribution of historic facts really invaluable as a board member. I will miss him.

John, one of the mentors I looked up to for guidance, patience, and the spark to become involved in the AMANJ. He truly inspired the next generation to step it up and support the profession as a volunteer and to be a voice for all in our tight knit assessment community. He is missed and remembered fondly. God bless.
Diane R. Hesley, Past-President of the AMANJ

As a young tax assessor, I first came to know John through various functions and conferences beginning in 1985. Those who worked with him professionally held him in the highest regard, and his dedication to the advancement of New Jersey assessors and the assessing profession was widely respected. I am grateful to have known him and have long viewed his service to the Association of Municipal Assessors of New Jersey as a beacon of leadership, commitment, and professionalism. His contributions left a lasting impact on our profession and on those fortunate enough to work alongside him. May he rest in eternal peace.
My condolences on the loss of a colleague and mentor.
Dennis DeKlerk, President
AMANJ
