John G. Alam Jr., 58 of Old Bridge, died suddenly on August 23, 2018. Visitation will be held at Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave., South Orange on Tuesday, 4-8pm. The Funeral Mass at Our Lady Of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St., South Orange on Wednesday, September 5th at 10:30 AM. Cremation is private. Internment of Ashes at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover on Saturday, September 8th at 12:15 PM. For more information or to send condolences please visit prestonfuneralhome.net. John, formerly of South Orange, spent the last fifteen years living in Old Bridge. He spent 29 years as a car salesman at various dealerships and was a manager at Buhler Ford in Eatontown. John was an active bodybuilder and trainer since his early 20’s. He was predeceased by his father John G. Alam Sr. John is survived by his mother Julie Alam, his sister Andrea C. Hart (William), his aunt Adele B. Alam and lovingly remembered by Louis Zendomenego, whom he raised as his own son.
