Mary Lou was a fun, kind person and we always had lively, interesting conversations. She was a wonderful friend to my Aunt Dee for a lifetime and I am so grateful for that. The three of us had a memorable brunch in Clinton last year where we tried to figure out why the world was so crazy. We failed. And it's only gotten crazier since. Oh well. She will be missed dearly.
With love,
Adam Frisoli

Just want to send my love and sympathy to Marylou’s family. Marylou and I were first cousins, and I have always been very fond of her. I didn’t see a lot of her through life’s journey, but she was close to my family and Mom and Jim kept me up to date on things. (plus of course the annual Christmas cards). I did get to enjoy a few days with her and my brother at her home in Asheville after my Mom past away. We had such a great time. We were going to get together again, but it never happened.
Marylou was such a kind, caring person who enjoyed a good time. She is in my thoughts and prays.
Love Georgene S Leiter

So many wonderful and precious memories I have of Mary Lou that go back so many years. A kind, wonderful, generous, fun, unique, caring, amazing woman who gave so much to me, taught me so much, brought so much to my life, and was always there for me. No matter how many people she touched, helped, made feel special, just as Patsy said in her memory of Mary Lou, that she always somehow made you feel like you were the only one and it was all about you. I have been so blessed to know and to be loved by this woman. The best way for me, and for all of us to honor her, is to be more like her, every day.

MaryLou was for me like a friend and sister at the same time. When we met, I liked her immediately. I loved her empathy and I was so happy because she was connected to my brother in his last years. I would like to express my deepest sympathy to her family.

I wanted to share my thoughts and memories of MaryLou. However this is very hard as she has meant so much to me and my family. She came into my father’s life and thus came into mine. The rest is history! She has been a mother to me and a wonderful friend. We have shared ups and downs but she always picks me up with her positive attitude. I know she has done that for so many people she has come in contact with, but I always felt it was just about me. Ha! I will always love you and miss you.

Mary Lou was the kindest, most thoughtful woman. She was always open to meeting knew people. She listened deeply and smiled widely. She was always present in the moment, genuine and sincere. She graced us with her presence at holidays and brought optimism and laughter to our family.
I wish I could have told her how much she meant to all of us.
Sincerely, Michelle Mercadante SanFillipo
