Obituary of Kathleen Schmieder

Kathleen  Lafferty  Schmieder, 79 of Maplewood passed away on November 25, 2020.

Funeral will be private.

Kathleen was born in Orange and has lived in Maplewood for the past 60 years. 

She  retired  from her crossing guard position for the Township of Maplewood several years ago.  She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows Church in South Orange.

Kathleen is survived by her husband Leonard F. Schmieder Jr., daughter  Susan  Herter, her grandchildren Barbara Kroog and Johnathan Herter, her two great grandchildren, her siblings James Lafferty and Patty Lafferty.  

In lieu of flowers donations in her name to Sister's of Christian Charity 350 Bernardsville Road, Mendham., NJ 07945  would be appreciated.
