Many years ago(the 50s) as a student at Wyoming School I idolized Nurse Gili. When I visited her at her home about 10 years ago I had to wait a bit as she was grocery shopping. I was so glad to see her and tell her that she was the reason I became a nurse. I had just retired after 50 years in the business. Such a sweetheart.

I was so saddened to hear of the passing of this great lady. I visited her about a month ago and brought christmas cookies. She was a great friend of our family especially with Aunt Mary D'Onofrio who I'm sure she has joined in heaven. Love, Daniel Cannizzo. dpctenor@aol.com

What an honor to be Louise's colleague as a Millburn Educator! We met when I was a pretty "green" teacher in an in-service, professional development course in the mid '70's - and I have remained her "fan-boy" ever since! I have benefitted from her ENJOY IT ALL philosophy in recent years as we both have served on the Executive Board of the Millburn Retired Educators group (MRE). She was a bright, witty, positive person - and I feel blessed to have known her! A Life Well Lived; rest in peace, dear Louise....

Our condolences. We really knew Aunt Louise through our dear friends, the Cauterucci’s. Louise very much impressed us. She said that part of her health regime was to have a little protein at every meal. She looked 70 at 100 so we have a little protein in her honor. She was quite a gal!!!!
