Michael G. Smith, 51, of Maplewood passed away at home on January 9, 2021.

 

Michael was born in Jamaica and has lived in Maplewood for 22 years.  Michael previously resided in East Orange, NJ and attended East Orange High School.  Michael worked for Black Millwork corporation and Anderson Corporation. He attended Christ Church in Montclair, NJ.

 

Michael was predeceased by his mother Beverly. He is survived by his wife, Judith, children, Shauna, Michael, Elisha, Johnathan, his father Jeffrey, sister Lacrecia and a host of family and friends whom he loved dearly.  

 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave. South Orange Sunday, January 24th from  3-6 p.m. Due to current restrictions regarding the pandemic the funeral service will be private.
