Obituary of Joseph E. Lanzl

Joseph E.  Lanzl, 87 of South Orange passed away at St. Barnabas Hospital on March 7, 2021.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St., South Orange on Thursday, March 11^th at 10:00 AM. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, E. Hanover.  Visitation will be held at Preston Funeral Home 153 South Orange Ave, South Orange on Wednesday 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Joseph was born in New Orleans and has lived in South Orange for the past 55 years. He was a civilian Engineer at the Picatinny Arsenal in Dover for 42 years retiring in 2000. Joseph served in the US Army during the Korean War at Ft Brag with the 82^nd Airborne.  Joseph as an active sportsman who liked to Hunt, Fish and Ski.

He is survived by his wife Helen Ann Dugas Lanzl, children   Patricia Conaway (James), Mark (Diane) and Glenn Lanzl (Jackie), grandchildren Patrick, Katie, Michael, Emily, Mitchell, Russell, Christopher and great grandchildren Reagan and Sterling.
