Janet Grace Fulton (Varady), a Billing Supervisor and life-long resident of Essex County, NJ, died unexpectedly on March 15, 2021 at the age of 75 surrounded by family.
Janet is survived by her daughter, Dawn Fulton and sister Karen (David) Stagg; many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her parents; two brothers, Dr. Robert A. and Richard Stuart Varady; and one niece Sandra L. Stagg.
Janet was born on February 21, 1946, to Alexander and Grace (Barcal) Varady. After graduating from Columbia High School in 1964, she worked in the billing department of local hospitals, most notably St. Mary’s Hospital in Orange, NJ and East Orange General Hospital in East Orange, NJ.
Janet was a devoted mother and avid reader, loved making cross stitch baby blankets for family and friends, as well as knitting and could always be found solving puzzles of all kinds. She passed along her love of reading and music to her daughter. Enjoyed attending concerts from Lynyrd Skynyrd and Pink Floyd to The Moody Blues and John Denver.
A graveside service will be held at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union on Monday, March 22nd at 12:00 PM.
The family would like to express their thanks for the loving care given by the staff at Inglemoor Rehab and Care Center in Livingston. They became a second family and without their wonderful help and dedication the family would’ve been lost.
