Obituary of Elizabeth M. Scott

Elizabeth “ Betty “ M. Scott, 92 of Keansburg formerly of Millburn passed away at Bayside Manor in Keansburg on November 6, 2021.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Church, 50 Short Hills, Ave, Short Hills, on Thur, Nov 11^th at  11:15 AM. Betty was born in Jersey City, and grew up in Maplewood NJ before moving to Millburn in 1948.  She was a longtime  parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Church in Short Hills where she served as a Eucharistic Minister.  She worked as an executive secretary for many years for economist Gary Shilling at White Weld & Co.

She is predeceased by her parents Andrew and Catherine (nee Belton) Scott and grew up as the proud grandaughter of Henry and Elizabeth (nee Cunningham) Belton.   Cousin Betty as she is referred to by most of her relatives is survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
