It was with a sense of profound sorrow that I learned of the death of Pat Giordano. I was privileged to have known him not only on a professional level, but on a deeply personal level as well. His love of the Fire Service was exceeded only by his love of family. Although I did not know him early in our careers, we became very close following our respective promotions. My wife and I have many fond memories of the trips we took together with Pat and Dorothy; memories that we shall always cherish. Fellow Firefighter, beloved friend. Go with God...
