Cecilio P. Lovelace, 75, of Newark, passed away at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston on January 30, 2022.

Cecilio was born in Port-au-Prince, Haïti. He was a watchmaker, gunsmith and photographer.

Cecilio is survived by his wife Mary-Claire Solange Lovelace, his children Eddy Michel, Magalie Laguerre, Danielle Lovelace, Edouard Lovelace, and Melissa Lovelace, as well as his 3 grandchildren Thrystan, Maara and Yohann.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady Of Sorrows Church, 217 South Orange Ave, South Orange on Sat, February 12th at 9:00 AM . Interment is private.  Visitation will be held at Preston Funeral Home 153 South Orange Ave, South Orange on Friday, February 11th from 7:00-9:00 PM.
