Joyce E. Rogers was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world on March 10, 2022 at age 89.
Joyce was born in Elizabeth and had lived in Maplewood before moving to Bloomsbury 26 years ago. Joyce was predeceased by her first husband Walter J. Dziedzic. She is survived by her loving husband Edward Rogers, who has brought her a rose every month on their anniversary since 1995, children Bruce (Donna), Glenn (Terry) and Lori Dziedzic, Sister Jackie Torbik and 4 grandchildren.
Upon retiring from her Legal Secretary job at the Law Firm of David Hollander in Millburn, Joyce spent her life spreading joy and positivity to everyone she met. Joyce was there at every milestone with a camera in hand, handmade every Halloween custom for her grandchildren, enjoyed knitting, reading and cooking. Joyce’s whimsical sense of humor was contagious and anyone that knew her, knew she loved fiercely and deeply. Joyce’s legacy will live on through her loving family, carrying on traditions, such as making sure everyone has a homemade cake on their birthdays, baking cookies before Christmas, pumpkin picking on Halloween, and cooking traditional Polish foods on the holidays.
