Obituary of Maryann Silver Zipf

Maryann T. Silver Zipf, 62 of West Orange passed away at home on Friday, March 11, 2022 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church, 44 Benvenue Ave, West Orange on Thursday, March 17^th at 10:00 AM. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.  Visitation will be held at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home 2122 Millburn Avenue Maplewood, NJ on Wednesday, March 16^th from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to Children's Specialized Hospital 150 New Providence Road, Mountainside, NJ 07092 would be appreciated. Maryann was born in Neptune, NJ and had lived in Maplewood before moving to West Orange 35 years ago.  She received her bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the Parsons School of Design in New York City in 1983. Maryann worked as an Artist in Residence at the Shepard Schools, Kinnelon, NJ for many years and was active in the West Orange Food Pantry.

She was predeceased by her daughter Bridget L. Zipf and her father James F. Silver.

Maryann is survived by her husband Peter Zipf, daughter Lucille R.  Zipf PhD and son Peter S. Zipf, mother Rosemarie F. Silver, siblings Diane Silver Hart, James Silver and Maggie Silver, father-in-law Edwin Zipf and mother-in-law Sandra Zipf and many nieces and nephews and their spouses.
