Obituary of Nicholas Lester Taylor

Nicolas Lester-Taylor born 1959 Heswall Died 2022 Maplewood NJ 

He was the youngest son of Gerald and Amy Lester-Taylor (née O’Brian). He attended school in Heswall on the Wirral England with his brother Christopher and sister Carol, then continued his education at Liverpool College of Art where he studied painting. His first trip to the USA was undertaken during his college years where he toured the States with a short visit in Mexico and Canada. He went on to complete a Master of Fine Art degree at Birmingham College of Art and moved to London briefly before returning to live in the US permanently.  Initially living in New York City he then moved to Hoboken where he met his future wife Laura, after they married they lived in Maplewood New Jersey. Where their daughter Julia was born, he instantly became a very devoted and loving stay-at-home father to his daughter. He was very good humored with a generous and thoughtful personality and enjoyed nothing more than entertaining his friends and family. He and Laura were long standing members of the local Golf and Tennis Club. He was a bon vivant and lived life to the fullest. He died at home in his sleep after several years of illness. He is survived by his wife Laura Lester-Taylor and daughter Julia. He will be greatly missed by all.
