Eduardo T. Perlas, 67, of Irvington, passed away on Tuesday, May 17th, 2022.

Visitation will be held at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave, Maplewood, on Sunday, May 22nd, from 2:00-6:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect Street, South Orange, on Monday, May 23rd at 10:00 AM. Eduardo was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Le Tran College in the Phillipines and his Master’s Degree in Business Administration at the University of San Fransisco.  He retired as a Purchasing Supervisor at the Department of Human Services, Comission for the Blind and Visually Impaired, for the State of New Jersey with over 30 years of service.

Eduardo’s favorite sports include tennis, fishing, and swimming. His favorite hobbies include watching football, driving, going to the casino, traveling across the US (25+ States), and playing with his beloved grandchildren. His favorite foods include sushi that he loved sharing with his family and friends, BBQ, and dairy-free ice cream. He was known for being a hardworking, sensitive, and caring family man with a great sense of humor by his family, friends, and coworkers.

Eduardo is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Corazon (Lomibao) Perlas, his children and their spouses Katherine and Drew Bittner and Stephen and Katherine Perlas, and grandchildren Brielle Bittner and Lucas Perlas. He will be truly missed.
