Obituary of Louis Ken-Kwofie
Louis Ken-Kwofie, 53 of West Orange passed away on June 25, 2022
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave, South Orange on Friday, July 22nd from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Followed by a service at 8:00 PM. Interment is private.
Louis was born in Takoradi, Ghana, and has lived in West Orange for 5 years. He graduated from Montclair State College in 1991 where he excelled at soccer. He then went on to play professional soccer during the 1996 season of Major League Soccer, where he played for the Metro Stars and the Pennsylvania Natives. After that he played in the Netherlands with Sparta Rotterdam. After his playing career, Louis coached at Ramapo College and other numerous clubs in New Jersey. He most recently coached at Hudson Catholic High School, in Jersey City where he was also a star player and was later inducted into their Hall of Fame.
Louis is survived by his Wife Jessie Larbie Ken-Kwofie, childen Adiel, Aviel , Benedict and Angel, brothers Larry and Jude Ken-Kwofie.
