Obituary of Jack DiRisio

John (Jack)DiRisio, 74, of South Orange passed away on October 1, 2022 at  St. Barnabas Hospital.

Visitation will be held at Preston Funeral Home 153 South Orange Ave South Orange, NJ  on Wednesday, 4-8pm . The Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady Of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect Ave., South Orange at 10:00 AM on Thurday October 6^th. Interment Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, E. Hanover. 

Jack was born in Orange, NJ and was a lifelong resident of South Orange. He was the senior mechanic for the Dept of Public works in South Orange for over thirty years. Jack was a very active member of his community. He was an officer for the South Orange Police Reserve and a member of the Savovia Italian Club. He was also a member of the South Orange Elks Club and the Florham Park Pistol and Rifle Club.

Jack was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Mary ( Zuzuro) DiRisio and his sister Carolyn. He is survived by his sister Francine Kempton and her husband Howard, niece Marissa and nephew Jonathan.
