Obituary of Frank J. D'Alessio Jr.

Frank J. D'Alessio Jr., 90, of West Orange passed away at home on October 22, 2022.

Visitation will be held at Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave, South Orange, NJ on Wednesday October 26th  from 3-8pm.  The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Church, 44 Benvenue Ave., West Orange on October 27th at 10:30.AM., followed by interment at Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, E. Hanover. 

Frank was born and raised in the Bronx, NY.  He has lived in West Orange for 59 years.  He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from Newark College of Engineering (NJIT).  He was an electrical engineer at Bell Labs in Murray Hill, NJ for 40 years.  Frank had a deep appreciation for music, especially Glenn Miller and jazz.  He had a love of nature, conservation, and astronomy. Many family vacations were spent in the beautiful national parks across the country.

Frank is survived by his beloved wife Marion D'Alessio (nee Magliaro), his children Mark D’Alessio, Francine Eremita and her husband John, and Jennifer D’Alessio, and grandchildren Matthew, Lara, Irene, Vincent, and Andrew.  He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Mary, and his sister Irene Stasio.
