Obituary of Ruth E. Chieco

Ruth E. Chieco (nee Mendel), 72 of Maplewood passed away on December 12, 2022 at the Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston.

Visitation will be held at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home 2122 Millburn Avenue, Maplewood, NJ  on Wednesday, December 21^st  from 4-8 PM. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, December 22^nd at 10 AM.  Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Keyport will be private.   

Ruth was born in Queens, NY and has lived in Maplewood for thirty eight years. Ruth worked as a Supervisor within the Securities Department for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York for over 25 years.

Ruth is survived by her beloved husband David Chieco, sister Nancy Mendel, devoted children David Chieco and his wife Karen, Marisa Chieco Christmas, and her adoring grandchildren David and Jessica Chieco, Jack, Kiara and Billy Christmas, sister-in-law Susan Chieco as well as a plethora of lifelong friends with whom she shared countless laughs and great times.

In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905 would be greatly appreciated.
