To the family of Rosemarie Iantosca: Our heartfelt condolences are sent to the family of Rosemarie. Rosemarie worked with my aunt, Mary Abbondanzo and our dear and close family member, Rosemary Stanley at NJ Bell for many years. Following their retirements from NJ Bell, they stayed in touch through the "Pioneers" retired employees group and would get together for lunch a few times a year. In their later years, my mother, Rose Piano, the youngest sister of Mary, would join the group and drive the ladies so they could still get together for their lunch dates. They were always fun and enjoyable get togethers. Rosemary passed in 2012 and Mary passed in 2014. Rosemarie came to my aunt's funeral and was warmly welcomed to the luncheon we had as part of the celebration of Mary's life following her funeral mass back in June of 2014. The kindness shown to my mom and other members of our family, all of whom Rosemarie had met for the first time that day was genuine and greatly appreciated by all of us. Rosemarie and my mom even continued to get together for lunch occasionally after Mary and Rose passed, right up until just a few years ago. She was a wonderful person and a good friend to Mary, Rosemary and my mom. We were sad to learn of her passing, but will remember her fondly in our thoughts and prayers. Thank you Aunt Rosie for the time we spent together. Thank you for your warm welcome, which made us feel at ease. Thank you for sharing family stories, photos and memorabilia with us. Thank you for opening your heart to us. Although our time together was brief, it was very special and we will be forever grateful to you. You were kind, gentle and patient, all qualities we hope for in an Aunt. We love you…RIP Pete & Glenda

I got to take Aunt Rosie to see the Charlotte Hornets where we sat in a private box. She got to see both Michael Jordan and Patrick Ewing that day. Jordan owns the team and Ewing was a coach at the time. She told me it checked off a number of items on her list…seeing Michael Jordon and Patrick Ewing in person (even from a distance) and sitting in a private box at a sporting event. Our Aunt Ro. She was all that and then some. She loved with her whole heart. This world would be one wonderful place if there were more people like her. We were all privileged to be loved by her. It was the easiest thing to love her back. There was nothing not to love about her. We will forever hold our wonderful memories of her close to our heart. God speed our beloved Aunt Rosie.
