Obituary of Anne B. Casale

Anne Casale, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2023 at the age of 101. 

Loving wife of the late Louis and beloved mother of Susan Greiner. 

Born in Newark, N.J. to Frank and Battista Vucola, Anne raised her family in Millburn, NJ later moving to Lakewood, NJ and spending the final 13 years of her life in Lake Ronkonkoma, NY.  In addition to her daughter, Anne is survived by her cherished granddaughters Lisa and her husband Paul Amodeo, Beth and her husband, James Morrison, as well as her adored great grandsons, Owen and Aidan.  Dear sister of Rosemarie Jemas and brother-in-law, Robert Hanrahan, she was predeceased by her sisters, Elvira Rizzo, Marie Vucola, Elsie Capuozzi, Dolores Hanrahan, and brothers, Angelo and Michael Vucola. 

Anne was the beloved matriarch of a family of many nieces and nephews. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of loving family and friends. Hers was a life well lived. She will be sorely missed. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 5^th from 3 to 6 PM at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave, Maplewood NJ.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11AM at St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, 50 Short Hills Ave, Short Hills, NJ. Interment to follow at St. Rose of Lima Church Cemetery.
