Obituary of Dorothy A. Blumenthal

Mrs. Dorothy A. Blumenthal passed away at home on March 12^th. She was born in Staten Island and spent most of her life living in New York City before spending her last three years in Madison, NJ. 

 

Dorothy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History from Wagner College. She worked in various positions within several companies, most prominently as the Director of Practice Development & Director of Alumni Relations at the law firm of Paul Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison in New York City from 2004 to 2015. 

 

She is predeceased by her husband Russell Blumenthal. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Pocchia, her husband Michael, Sister Diana Abreu, grandsons Zachary and Christopher and many nieces and nephews. 

 

In lieu of flowers contributions to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) will be appreciated. Her Funeral Service is private.
