I was a classmate at Rutgers Law School with Al; about 7 or 8 years later, my parents moved to Pompano Beach, Florida. By a lucky coincidence, Al bought a condo at few buildings north of my parents condo. So, I got to see Al frequently as we comiserated about the Florida Bar. Rest in Peace

Dear Carolonza children and family, There are too many memories for me to recount here, but I want you to know that Al was a great part of my life, certainly during the 80s, 90s and even the 2000s. I am terribly sorry for your loss. I know how wonderful a man Al was, and I am sure he will be terribly missed. From the Metropolitan Opera House to the canals of Venice and the Verona Opera House under the stars, I had some of my most wonderful times with your father, grandfather, father-in-law, and probably best friend. I always said to him, "Al, you have to give me your daughter's phone number in case anything happens to you! How will I let her know?" I've added a photo of my graduation from Fordham grad school, which Al was kind enough to attend. That was May 2014. Again, my deepest sorrow and condolences for your great loss. May his memory bring you peace. I am so grateful for his friendship.

Dear Alfred & Family, I have such wonderful memories of your Dad and am sorry for your huge loss. I recall such fun nights at restaurants and outings with him and various friends telling the most intriguing stories and evenings filled with belly laughs! So knowledgeable on many topics and just life in general. It is a small world as well with my grandmother, Eleanor being friends with Eileen in Orange. Sending peace and comfort. Kristen Gaffney
