Obituary of Robert B. Murray

 Robert B.  Murray, 62 of Short Hills passed away on April 4, 2023 at Morristown Memorial Hospital.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave, Maplewood on Thursday, April 13^th at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at St. Stephen's Cemetery, Millburn.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 12^th from 4-8 PM, In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905 or Carol G. Simon Cancer Center 100 Madison Ave.

Rob was born in Summit and was a lifelong resident of Short Hills. He graduated from Millburn High School in 1979. After high school he was employed with the township of Millburn and City of Summit for their shade tree dept.  Rob was also a personal fitness trainer in Florham Park. Since 2008 he was working in Retail at the Garden Department for Home Depot in Vauxhall. Rob was an avid baseball lover and played with the 35+ over league as a catcher and he also played fall ball at Doubleday Field in Cooperstown, NY.

Rob was a member of the National Guard and trained at Fort Knox, KY and Fort Drum, NY

Rob is survived by his children Christopher and Justin Murray, parents John and Barbara (Trowbridge) Murray and his sister Debra Ripoli.
