Q: What will you miss most about Edward? A: Eddie, Eddie, Eddie was such a great father, husband and brother in law. We will miss his laughter and his stories, some of which we actually believed. The quarter turn will be a part of every family barbecue for the rest of our lives. He brought so much joy into our lives and will be sorely missed. Our lives are all better for knowing him. Eddie had a unique way of brightening every room he walked into. His smile and laughter are forever etched in my memory, as are all of the good times sitting around the table with Kathy and Paul as we all enjoyed the fantastic and delicious holiday meals he prepared for the occasion.

Eddie loved having a good time and was always able to recount any of them in detail to the delight of those with him. His optimism, which was one of his great attributes, along with his big heart enabled him to overcome challenges that came his way. Eddie’s Christian values included great compassion for others. He cared. I can envision Eddie prepared to crash through St Peter’s gates, but I can also see the smile on his face as he approached seeing it was not necessary as the angels quickly flung the gates open to welcome him with a big hug. Rest In Peace Eddie. God bless you Kathy and Paul.
