To Dominique and Nick ,
It pains me to hear of your mom’s passing. She was like a mother to me and treated me and my brother like one of her own and I will always love and appreciate her for that. I’m sorry that I could not attend the funeral, my heart and prayers will always be with you and the family.
God Bless

I always used to think Carline was so pretty and amazing. She was my oldest cousin at the time, my mom just came from Haiti. My 6 year old self will always remember her squeezing my cheeks and picking me up. Even when I got older with life going on whenever I saw her she would greet me with a big smile and hug.

Sending my love to all of Carline's family and friends during this difficult time.
I am blessed and thankful to have met Carline and her family at the age of 11, and my memories of them and with them will be with me forever.
Carline, thank you for teaching me so many life lessons as a young girl. You were hard on me and Nancy, but we knew to listen, because we knew you cared. I will miss you, but you're forever in my heart.

“Ms. Aunt Carline”, is what my children call her, lol. I moved into the downstairs apartment because of her spirit. We instantly connected. Writing this brings me to tears because she was a second mom to me (my Aunty-Mama). I went through major lows while we were neighbors. She saved my life. Such a beautiful woman, what a beautiful soul. She was a feisty one too….don’t let the beauty fool you. And she would pray demons down. My family moved a little after a year, but had gained an Angel right here on earth. My family and I would randomly drop by to see Ms. Aunt Carline, Nick, Dom, and the grands. You all are literally family to us. We are praying that God blesses you all with strength, love, comfort, and peace, beyond unconditional.
Hey Aunty,
I know God said, “Well Done” to you…take a bow and take your rest, you deserve it…we got it from here….please watch over us…we got Nick, Dom, and The Grands.
Love,
~Tia, Jada, & Lil Reg ❤️

Carline was a great friend. We spoke every day. She was one of the first people to greet me when I first bought my home and became instant friends. She would visit me often and was always there to lend a hand when I needed and vice versa. She would surly be missed.

My condolences to Nancy and Gabriel and all family members. I have very fond memories as a child growing up with Nancy, Carline, and Gabriel. I was their neighbor from across the street.
Carline was always nice and good to me. Back then she was like a big sister I never had. Our birthdays were 4 days apart. And as I grew up and we all went separate ways, I never forgot Carline’s birthday. I thought of her every year.
Within the last couple years, I reconnected with Nancy. After her and I caught up, I immediately asked about Carline and Gabriel. Carline was a beautiful person, inside and out. She had a beautiful smile. She was very kind. She liked to laugh and have a good time. I respected her and definitely looked up to her back in the day. I will never forget Carline. She will always be in my heart. Rest in peace Carline. Your ex-neighbor, Taneca P. (Rollins) Sands.
