Obituary of Violet R. Persaud

Violet R.   Persaud, 95 of South Orange formerly of Guyana, passed away at home surrounded by her family on July 18, 2023.

Visitation will be held at Preston Funeral Home 153 South Orange Ave South Orange, NJ  on Tuesday, July 25^th from 9-10:30AM . The Funeral service will be held following the visitation at 10;30 AM at Preston Funeral Home.  Entombment to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield. 

Violet was born in La Grange, Guyana,  and has lived in South Orange for the past 17 years.     

She was predeceased by her daughter Marlyn A. Persaud. Violet is survived by  her childern Yvonne  Small (Terrance), Edwin  Seeraj,  Shiraz Ali (Pam),  Edna  Murugan (Sam),  Ena  Hendricks,  Enid Haddock (Robert) and  Cecelia  Robinson, as well as 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
