Obituary of Virginia A. Reino

Virginia A. Reino, 96 of Millburn passed away peacefully at Brightview Senior Living, Warren NJ surrounded by her family on July 18, 2023.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Church, 50 Short Hills Ave, Short Hills, on Monday July 24, 2023 at 10am. Interment St. Teresa's Cemetery, Summit. Visitation will be held at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home 2122 Millburn Ave, Maplewood on Sunday July 23, 2023 from  2-4 pm.

Virginia ‘Jean’ Rocco was born and raised on Hamilton Avenue in Trenton, NJ and was a graduate of Hamilton High School Class of 1945. Jean married Frank J. Reino (late husband) in Hamilton Township NJ on September 8, 1951 and they lived in Millburn for more than 70 years. Before marrying and having children Jean was employed by Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner and Beane, and later by B. Altman & Company before retiring in 1990. She was a member of St Rose of Lima Church and was deeply devoted to her family. In retirement, Jean enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles and going to the Paper Mill Playhouse.

 

Jean is predeceased by her sister Lena Caserta and brothers Sonny and Bill Rocco. She is survived by her children Michael Reino (Maria) and Donna Reino, grandson Jonathan Reino, and numerous nieces and nephews.
