Bill was a remarkable person with a quick wit, gentle nature and an encyclopedic knowledge of classical music that (luckily for me) he loved to share. He was incredibly modest for such an amazing musician. I'll never forget how Donna and Bill's cat Cocoa used to provide informal critiques of his opera-singing students in San Francisco by staying in the room (sometimes on the bench, as I recall!) when she approved of their singing and hiding when she didn't. Bill and Donna were a match like no other, a model for others to see how to love and live together in harmony. And Bill was a man like no other. Sending much love and heartfelt condolences to Donna and to Bill's family and loved ones. May his memory be a blessing to all. Sleep in the stars, in peace, Bill. xox

The first thing that comes to mind when I think of Bill is his marvelous sense of humor. And brilliant mind. He was the best company a person could have. A gracious and generous host who made you feel you never wanted to go home! I’m so sorry for his loved and loving partner and soulmate Donna, who is his perfect match. Never to be forgotten, Bill Tracy.
