Obituary of Catherine R. Keating

Catherine Ryan Keating, 86 passed away at home in Springfield surrounded by her family on October 2, 2023.

Visitation will be held at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home 2122 Millburn Avenue, Maplewood, on Friday, October 6^th from 4-8 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Rose of Lima Church, 50 Short Hills Avenue, and Short Hills on Saturday, Oct 7^th at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at St. Teresa's Cemetery in Summit. 

Catherine was born in Newark, and had lived in Short Hills before moving to Springfield 20 years ago. She worked as a Processing Manager for Weichert Realtors in Short Hills for over 20 years.

Catherine was predeceased by her husband Robert M. Keating Sr., and her siblings Patrick and Edward Ryan and Elizabeth Kane. She is survived by children Patricia  Mulrane (Earle),  Margaret Tavis (Brian), Robert, Keating Jr (Eileen), Linda Wade (Edward),  Mary Quinn (John) and Michael Keating, siblings  Mary Jupin, James Ryan, Margaret Ryan, Nancy Suchnick and Daniel Ryan, 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
