Debbra C. Jackson (nee Showers), 76 of Maplewood passed away on October 1st, 2023 at Beth Israel Hospital in Newark.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation at the Preston Funeral Home 153 South Orange Ave. South Orange, NJ on Tuesday, October 10^th from 10-11AM followed by a Funeral service at 11:00 AM. Entombment will be at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, NJ.

Debbra was born and raised in Newark, and has lived in Maplewood for over 40 years. She graduated from Montclair State College in 1968 and worked as a Speech and Language Pathologist for the Newark Board Of Education, for 39 years before retiring.

Debbra is predeceased by her husband Dwight Jackson. She is survived by her daughters India Perkins and Ashley Jackson, her son Justin Jackson, grandchildren Jacobi and Eden, her sister April Moskowitz and her brother Harold “Thunder” Showers Jr.
