Mante Tatoune was one of the most compassionate, loving, and patient people I have ever had the joy of knowing and being related to. As the last of the older generation, one of my favorite memories is when I got to spend the summer as a kid with her. As a lover of Haitian food and being tiny, she really thought that my mom wasn't feeding me and took great pleasure in my appetite. Maunte Tatoune, I love you and you will live in my heart forever.

My memories of my wonderful tante Tatoune are exceptional specially when my mother dropped us in Aux Poteaux,for summer vacation she took care of us like her own children. Most of all is when I piggy back on her while singing folks songs.Tante Tatoune you will be missed.My prayer will always be with you

I didn't have the pleasure of seeing TanteTatoune often, especially during her later days. But the interactions we've had over the years, have left me with only fond, pleasant & heart felt memories which I'll treasure. We continue to pray for the family & all those affected by this loss.Love you all
