Linda and Judy, I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Nick's passing. What a wonderful guy! You won't believe this, but I had a dream about him a few days ago, and It was strange because I had never dreamed about him and had not been thinking about any connection. At the time it occurred to me that perhaps he passed, and I thought that he had come to visit me. He knocked on my door looking for my Mom and Dad. I am not sure what day it was, but it was within the last few days. I believe he was saying his good buys as he went on to his next life. MaryJo and I will keep you in our prayers. Love you guys. Dearest Judy, Michael, Nick and Stephen, Rod told me about your Dad/Granddads passing. We have so many wonderful memories of him. His laugh, twinkling eyes, and tell it like it is good nature. He had such a fabulous lovable way about him. I’m forever honored that he came to our wedding. I can’t imagine your grief, but I’m so happy you had him in your life all these years. We miss you and wis you all wonderful long 99+ years of happiness. Sorry we can’t be with you in person, but our prayers and love are there. Kathy

My heartfelt condolence to Mr Nick's family and friends! I have many fond memories of Mr Nick. He was so friendly, so welcoming! His contagious smile, his hugs, his handshakes are just a few of his attributes! I still recall little Jo, who isn't so little any more. This was over 20 years ago. At Mass during "The Sign of Peace", little Jo, no matter where his family was sitting, would go all the way to where Mr Nick is for his handshake and hug. That always brought smiles to our faces. Mr Nick also invited me to pray the Rosary before Mass. This made me feel special. And yes, his sweetheart! He always spoke about his sweetheart, the love of his life! I never met her, but his love for his wife was palpable. Run into the arms of our ALMIGHTY FATHER, our Blessed Mother, St Joe and your sweetheart, Mr Nick!!! Sleep in Christ's peace. Mr. Nick , will be deeply missed! One of the first things he said when we met him, was that he missed his sweet heart! He was always so nice, helpful a genuine Nice person!!! On behalf of St. Joseph School Community East Orange, we send our sincere condolences to the family of Mr. Nick. Over the years he was a true friend and supporter of the school. He loved seeing the school continue to educate the many students that passed through its doors. His words of encouragement to the faculty and staff will never be forgotten.
