The South Orange Police Department operated on another plane when Mrs. Susie Lambert worked there, and kept the operation running. She was a brilliant administrator and effective facilitator of all the many functions that must be maintained to allow police officers to serve and protect for 24/7/365 through all manner of adverse conditions. But she was so much more... Susie Lambert was a breath of fresh air each and every moment she was with us- for people who work in public safety, that was vitally important. She cared for us, guided us, encouraged and supported us in every way. Her many attributes included intelligence, insight, compassion and respect for every person she encountered. Sue put such great care into everything she did, and her attention to detail was amazing. Most of all, she was an open heart and a smiling face to be counted upon in the most trying of times. We who knew Sue Lambert mourn her passing along with her children, grandchild and many dear friends. Her grace and poise will remain with us all forever. And we know that she is at peace now in the arms of The Lord- even Heaven will run more smoothly now that they have Susie to lean on... -Mike Bolger South Orange Police (RETIRED)

I know my dear god-mother, Aunt Sue, is resting in peace! Aunt Sue & Uncle Ed were sent to us by God. They are literally the only people on earth who I would have wanted to raise me had something happened to my parents. I know this not only because of what beautiful souls they were, but also because of the beautiful children they produced. Please hold my god-siblings in prayer as they lay their 2nd parent to rest. I love you Aunt Sue! Keith Lambert Karla Braithwaite love you both!
