Obituary of Andrew "Tony" Rogers Jr.

Andrew Y. Rogers, Jr. “Tony”, age 82 died on January 24, 2024 at home in Florham Park, N.J.

A memorial service will be held on at Morrow Memorial Church, 600 Ridgewood Rd, Maplewood, N.J. on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.

Tony was born in New York, N.Y., and lived in Maplewood for over 30 years before moving to Florham Park about 20 years ago.  He was a graduate and dedicated alumnus of the Frederick Gunn School and Dickinson College, where he met his wife, Judy.  In 2023, he was named to the Dickinson College Hall of Fame in recognition of his athletic talent and dedication to the school’s athletic programs.  Tony served in the U.S. Army and was employed by J.P. Stevens Textiles as a National Sales Manager. 

Tony is survived by his wife, Judith Elder Rogers; his two children, Andrew Y. Rogers III and Elizabeth R. Hall; his four grandchildren, Mitchell Arthur and Owen Andrew Rogers, and Luke Edward and Malcolm Hunter Hall; and his three siblings, Polly Larned, Malcolm P. Rogers, and Frances P. Zilkha.

Donations in memory of Tony may be made to Dickinson College, the McAndrews Fund.
