Obituary of Jayne D. Kelly

Jayne D. Kelly, age 79, of Maplewood, NJ died suddenly on Thursday, March 7th, 2024 in her home.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, 767 Prospect Street, Maplewood on Tuesday, March 12^th at 11:00 am. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union.

Jayne was born in Newark and has lived in Maplewood for 56 years. She was owner of Professional Medical Training, in Maplewood. Jayne also served 20+ years as an EMS Educator and EMT Coordinator at Saint Michael’s Medical and Cathedral Healthcare System.

Jayne served decades with the Maplewood First Aid Squad where she served as Squad President, West Orange First Aid Squad where she served as Squad Captain and the South Orange Rescue Squad.

Jayne is predeceased by her sister Louise Moscatelli, brothers Samuel and Gerald Lonero. She is survived by her husband Joseph D. Kelly Jr., children, Sal Nesta (Nellann), Sherri Meyers (Brian), Joseph D. Kelly III (Danielle), David Kelly (Tamika), and Carmela Sode (George), twelve grandchildren and one great granddaughter. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905 would be appreciated.
