I have a full treasure chest of wonderful memories with my God Mother! The one that sticks out today was my sweet 16th birthday party at her house. It was an amazing party and I truly appreciated her and uncle Nick’s love and kindness. They along with my mom, uncle Jack and other family and friends made it one of the greatest birthdays for me. I will miss her dearly!

My deepest condolences to the entire family. Aunt Norma (who she was to me) was one of my mother’s (Mitzi Soaries) dearest friends from childhood and as it was in those days, those friends were just like sisters and therefore an aunt to me. I loved talking to Aunt Norma. She was so loving and caring and I loved hearing she and my mom talk about when they were growing up. She was very near and dear to our hearts and she will forever be in our hearts. Praying for your comfort.

What a wonderful woman Norma was! Full of life, laughter, wit and always a great storyteller. She loved Poetry and often shared he poems with our Book Club. Norma, God Bless you. Thank you for being in my life. Blessings, Joanne Douds

So sorry to hear of Norma's death. She was a very special lady. She attended a Book Club which had many members from St. Andrew & Holy Communion and shared her love of poetry. We went to see Billy Collins at SOPAC at her urging. My condolences to her family.

I had the privilege of meeting this beautiful lady just a few times on band nights. No matter the place, no matter how loud the music, she was front and center watching her boys perform as often as possible. You could feel her love. Sending thoughts and fond memories to the entire family.

Norma was one special woman. Meeting her at Ashland school in 1975 changed my life. I still use all her "tips" when I am in my classroom. Especially, how to "read aloud to my class". I will always keep her in my heart. Love Nancy Stropnicky
