Obituary of Madeline C. Hawes

Madeline C. Hawes, age 95, of Millburn passed away on May 31, 2024.

Visitation will be held at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Avenue, Maplewood, on Wed, June 5^th from 4:00 – 8:00 PM

The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Thursday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin.

Madeline was born in Elizabeth, and lived in South Amboy before moving to Millburn in 1998   She worked at her families business “Bunchers Hardware” in Millburn, NJ, since 1983.

Madeline was predeceased by her husband William Hawes and her brother Archangleo DiMattia.  She is survived by her son: Frank Hawes (Marlene), grandson, David Hawes (Angela) and great grandchildren, Amelia and Benjamin Hawes.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephew, great nieces and nephews and great-great nephews.
